Tender for supply of steel sheet of size 15x2500x6400mm., as per drawing: din en 10025-5 s355 j2w+ n. specification for ultrasonic testing of steel plates shall be astm-a-578reapproved 2 001. the acceptance standard shall be level b para 8 of astm-a-578 with frequency 1 00% all the plates shall be ut testing, scanning shall be continuous over 100% of plat e surface., packing instruction: mild / corten/ en steel coils, sheets and plates:- a mild, en and corten steel sheets in coil form. the coil shall be protected in reasonably good c ondition to withstand normal handling hazard during transit with the following pro vision as the barest minimum: i the whole coil should be wrapped with double layer of water proof paper and a biodegradeable plastic sheet of suitable thickness. ii the inne r edge of the coil should be protected by gi ring followed by another iron ring. iii ou ter edge of the coil should be wrapped with gi ring. iv coil should be securely strappe d with minium 5 steel bands through the eyes of the coil and minium 3 steel bands on t he circumference of the eye. v hot rolled coils shall be supplied with rust preventive oil coating on the outer layer, inner layer and on the both edges. vi coils processed t hrough pickling and or skin passing or cold rolling of thickness upto 2mm shall be pr otected against corrosion and rust by coating corrosion preventive fluid, soft film, s olvent deposited, waterdisplacing to is: 1154 . vii whole coil should be mounted on wo oden blocks for easy lifting/ stacking. viii the sheets in coil form for thickness 2mm a nd above shall have: inner dia of coil 450-800mm outer dia of coil 1000-1300mm weight o f coil 2.4 - 10 tonnes ix the sheets in coil form for thickness below 2mm shall have: inn er dia of coil 450-650mm outer dia of coil 1000-1300mm weight of coil 5.0 - 10 tonnes. b mild, en and corten steel plates/sheets. i plates above 5mm shall be supplied with reas onable packing with metal straping for handling during transit and storage. ii the sh eets/plates shall be supplied in bundles with double layer of water proof paper & a bio degradeable plastic sheet of suitable thickness and metal protection in edges.all the sheets upto 2mm thckness shall be protected against corrosion and rust by coating c orrosion preventive fluid, soft film, solvent deposited, waterdisplacing to is: 1154 and all the sheets/plates above 2mm shall be protected against corosion & rust with suita ble mineral oil or other temporary rust preventive coating. iii all bundles shall have a minimum of 2 hoops upto 1.2 meter in length and one extra hoop for every additional meter. the bundles shall also be provided with skid wooden packing under neath to f acilitate handling. iv optimum weight of the bundle should be 2mt+-10%. mechanical d amange & corrosion during transit if any shall be at the cost of supplier. warranty p eriod: 30 months after the date of delivery quantity tolerance +/-: 5 %age, item category : normal, total po value variation permitt ed: max 8 lacs steel sheet of size 8x2500x4500mm., as per drawing/specification: din en 10025-5 s355j2w+n.specification for ultrasonic testing of steel plates shall be as per en10160 & acceptance criteria shall be s1e1 of en10160 with frequency 100% all the plates sha ll be ut testing, scnanning shall be continuous over 100% of plate surface. packing instr uction: mild / corten/ en steel coils, sheets and plates:- a mild, en and corten steel she ets in coil form. the coil shall be protected in reasonably good condition to withstan d normal handling hazard during transit with the following provision as the barest minimum: i the whole coil should be wrapped with double layer of water proof paper a nd a biodegradeable plastic sheet of suitable thickness. ii the inner edge of the coil s hould be protected by gi ring followed by another iron ring. iii outer edge of the coil should be wrapped with gi ring. iv coil should be securely strapped with minium 5 steel bands through the eyes of the coil and minium 3 steel bands on the circumference of t he eye. v hot rolled coils shall be supplied with rust preventive oil coating on the ou ter layer, inner layer and on the both edges. vi coils processed through pickling and or skin passing or cold rolling of thickness upto 2mm shall be protected against corr osion and rust by coating corrosion preventive fluid, soft film, solvent deposited, wa ter displacing to is: 1154 . vii whole coil should be mounted on wooden blocks for eas y lifting/ stacking. viii the sheets in coil form for thickness 2mm and above shall have: inner dia of coil 450-800mm outer dia of coil 1000-1300mm weight of coil 2.4 -
